With traditional English tea shops becoming increasingly difficult to come across, it is good to know that afternoon cream teas are available at Café Elvira’s accompanied by freshly baked scones baked on the premises.
There is also an eclectic blend of coffees and teas, delicious, freshly baked cakes and biscuits, home-made plat du jour and vegetarian menus as well as children’s choices and gluten and wheat free bakery. Full English breakfasts have been added to the menu as well as a growing deli selling locally sourced products.
Café Elvira is open from 9.30am to 5pm and is also available for private parties and suppers. Parking is free and there is alfresco seating for sunnier days. Fully licensed.
Please note however, from November 2nd we will be shut on Mondays.
