Table d´Hôte

Taken from the French form, table d’hote literally means ‘the table of the host’ and offers a meal of several courses for a fixed price. Not available Friday or Saturday night.

Starters

  • Fennel, beetroot and blood orange salad with pine nuts
  • Assiette of fish with cucumber and tomato salad
  • Bury black pudding with soft-boiled egg and crispy bacon salad

      

Mains

  • Pan-fried lambs kidneys with rosemary mash, glazed carrots and Madeira jus
  • Pan fried fillet of organic salmon with crushed potatoes, buttered spinach and chive sauce
  • Filo parcel of spinach, ricotta and pine nuts with roasted vegetables and mushroom veloute 

 

 Puddings

  • Chocolate brownie with mint choc chip ice cream 
  • Rhubarb and apple crumble with rhubarb and rosewater sorbet
  • Lemon posset with berry compote
