Jeremy's Indian summer

Topsy turvy late summer heat calls for some reworking of dishes as our chefs look forward to autumn and winter ingredients.  Don't knock it, I say, but then so much of what we do at Jeremy's and Cafe Elvira is inspired by idyllic sojourns in the Med, so we'll keep the estate-bottled olive oil flowing a little longer.  Even so, Vera and her team have just made the first batch of Christmas puddings!

Despite the poor weather this summer and the continued economic gloom, we have enjoyed a successful season and I put this down to sheer hard work!  Also the refurbished interior, our new friendly priced daily menu and a succession of loyalty voucher schemes that go directly to those that deserve them - YOU - the valued customer.  Thanks for your continued support.  Do look out for details of our much-loved windfall menu and autumn suppers on the website.  To book online click here.

Macmillan Cancer support is turning 100 years old this year and to mark this important occasion, Jeremy's is hosting a gala centenary dinner at the restaurant, sponsored by Savills Haywards Heath, on Friday 18th November.  Guests will enjoy a special 3-course dinner prepared by Jeremy and his team, including an arrival aperitif, coffee and petit fours.   And the money raised on the night will go to the Macmillan Cancer Support in Brighton.   There are still some tickets left - £40 per person or £400 for a table of ten - so to take part in this fantastic fund-raising dinner and help celebrate this special birthday, please contact the organiser - David Metcalfe by phoning him on 01444 415060 or emailing at elsda@btinternet.com.  7.30pm for 8pm, smart/casual dress.

We hope to see you soon.
