Christmas is not just a festive time of year but also a very popular time for engagements; this year, we thoroughly enjoyed hosting a large number of weddings, family gatherings and special celebrations at Jeremy's and look forward to the same next year; 2013 doesn't need to be thought of as unlucky, Jeremy will tell you it was lucky for him, he was born on Friday 13th!!

And so, as a highly valued member our email club, if you have a relation in your family or a friend who is planning a wedding or special occasion for next year, do please contact us if are considering a Sussex venue and receive a complimentary meal for two upon confirmation of your booking.  As a reminder, Jeremy's can accommodate up to 55 guests in the restaurant or for larger events, up to 120 guests in the marquee and from time to time we have certain mid-week dates (Tuesday to Friday inclusive) when we are able to offer special wedding packages. Where better to toast the new year in than at Jeremy's - we have invited an exciting and eminent duo to join us, The Blue Drops, featuring session player Tom Butterworth and Julie Barford for an up-tempo evening of entertainment together with  a 7-course supper, including midnight champagne and disco.  £95 per person.  So to book please either call or book online.

And for those who have been supporting and watching our young chef Jimmy Gray's progress through the Sussex Food and Drink Awards Young Chef of the Year, will be thrilled to hear (well, we are and very proud of him too) that he is now one of the three finalists. He did extremely well at the cook-off last week, one of the judges commented "the presentation of his butter poached lobster to start was excellent and was followed by a main course of Sussex mallard, the ingredients for which were all produced within a five mile radius of Borde Hill."  The winner will be announced at the end of January at a gala dinner.
