Jeremy's last taste of summer

There is still plenty to enjoy in the changing season, not least the low-lying mists, the turning colours and the scrumptiousness of autumn. Once autumn really starts, we have a programme of cosy suppers and winter warmers to tempt you out on these cooling nights.

On Thursday, October 23rd Jeremy's welcomes winemaker Martin Meinert from South Africa for a wine dinner based around the wines of his family’s Devon Crest Vineyard

The 13 hectares of vines lie in the wide Devon Valley, backed by craggy hills right beside the village of Stellenbosch, 50 miles east of Cape Town. Martin was winemaker for ten years at the famous Vergelegen estate, and is still consultant and winemaker for numerous small wineries.

Enjoy his wines accompanied by a tempting four-course menu developed by Jeremy and his kitchen team.

Do join us, £65 per person to include aperitif and nibbles, four courses matched with the wines, then coffee and petits fours. To book please either call 01444 441102 or book online 7.30pm for 8pm.

For the fourth year, we are supporting Macmillan Cancer's annual gala dinner at Jeremy's on Friday 14th November. Tables are filling fast so if you wish to book or put together your own table, please get in touch with David Metcalfe directly at elsda@btinternet.com.
