Jeremy's Taste of Spring

And front of house colleagues have had moments to enjoy warm sunshine whilst setting up the terrace for this much needed antidote to winter blues. 

Thirty-five years of running independent hospitality establishments, from our first tiny bistro in Cuckfield and the subsequent launch of what was almost certainly the first gastro pub dining room in Sussex, has culminated in achieving Best Sussex Eating Experience at Jeremy's this year.  A remaining ambition is to help Jimmy and the team be rewarded with a Michelin star whilst continuing to provide a first class venue for weddings, special family celebrations and a professional experience for corporate clients.

Cyril and Jo welcome Aurore as assistant manager. She comes from a good gastronomic background in France and Vera has a new Café Elvira manager in Natalie. Look out for a very exciting revamp of the dining room after Easter and the reappearance of garden herbs, edible flowers and new season produce on the menu.

We have also been busy working on our spring and summer events not least as Easter is just around the corner.  We are offering a family-friendly Easter menu on Good Friday and Saturday - 2 courses £21, 3 courses £25, children under 12 dining half price.  Bank Holiday Monday lunchtime jazz, with our a la carte menu, is an ideal combination, all in the company of Bem Brasileiro. Hold the date of  Wednesday June 18th when we welcome back dear friends Mike and Robyn Tiller of the Isabel Estate, Marlborough New Zealand to host a special wine dinner. More details to follow.
