The merry month of May at Jeremy's

What a blessing the recent beautiful spring weather has been.  Darling buds everywhere and the first local asparagus and watercress offer a welcome verdant touch to the kitchen palate.

As well as being hard at work in the kitchen, our front of house staff have been busy putting together the summer programme. Jazz musician and regular to Jeremy's, Mike Hatchard delights us once again with Bank Holiday Monday jazz from 12 noon,  if the weather keeps up our terrace will be in full glory.  Lunch is a la carte, bar opens from 12 noon.  Do please book for lunch, particularly if you fancy the terrace.

From next Tuesday, 4th May we shall be offering our regular lunchtime terrace special, available Tuesday to Saturday lunchtimes, at a cool £14.50 per person together with an accompanying glass of wine.

Our "Wines with Altitude" winemakers dinner on Tuesday 18th May is now pretty much booked, next on our schedule is our Jeremy's BBQ on Sunday 27th June.  2-courses £27.50 per person.  Again do book on line or call us on 01444 441102 to reserve a table.

On to further news and Channel 4's hunt for the Best Local Restaurant is on for 2010.  Following on from the success of last year's nominations, Ramsey is on the look out for restaurants run by people with passion for food, who deliver great service and a great atmosphere.  Jeremy's has been nominated, so into the fray we go.   We would love to think that you too would kindly click http://www.fword.tv/nominate.aspx and nominate us also as your best local restaurant.

Finally for now, on Friday 11th June we are hosting a lunchtime charity fashion show in aid of the NSPCC.  This is being organised by JoJo Boutique in Cuckfield and tickets can be purchased directly on 01444 413551.  2-course lunch and fashion show - £30 per person.  All profits to the NSPCC.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
