Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we have just heard that our chef, Jimmy Gray, is among the latest nominations for Sussex Young Chef of the Year as part of this year's Sussex Food and Drink Awards 2012/13.
It has just been announced, Jeremy's is crowned South East winner of the prestigious Good Food Guide Reader's Restaurant of the Year - WOW.!
The temperature is rising at last and there is some hot stuff coming from the kitchen thanks to our young brigade led by Jimmy Gray whom we have re-entered into Sussex's young chef of the year competition and who must surely win this time.
On Easter Friday 6th April, we welcome Nigel Thomas and Simon Robinson for dinner. Nigel is a multi-talented jazz artist - he writes music, is a bandleader and a professional double bass player.
The glorious early sunshine has put a spring in our step as we relaunch the terrace for another summer season. I have just managed to put in an early order for some spring lamb in time for Easter and we have revamped our wine list introducing a lot of new and exciting wines including 'zesty' whites and fresh rosés to enjoy with the lighter dishes that we turn to at the passing of winter.
