It's autumn newsletter time at Jeremy's, which we are now making available online as we celebrate twenty-five years of the restaurant's inclusion in the Good Food Guide. Other good news is that Sussex Life food reviewer Lulu Larkin has voted us in her top 6 favourite Sussex restaurants in the next issue. Thanks for that. Do take the time to view the newsletter.
For those enjoying the relaxed pleasures of an English summer at home, here's a quick update on news at Jeremy's.
A time of lazy, hazy summer days, alfresco dining and summer on our plates. It has been a real pleasure to see our terrace being enjoyed as we bask in a touch of Mediterranean heat. So far, it has been a busy summer for us; our jazz bbq was a sizzler and our recent African-themed dinner with the renowned explorer Colonel John Blashford-Snell recounting tales of Dr. Livingstone and Henry Morton Stanley, together with wine expert Charles Metcalfe, was a very enjoyable evening.

Summer solstice has been and gone. Vera and I didn't join the 20,000 to see the sun rise, but we have just returned, revived and inspired, from a trip to the "world's best restaurant", Noma in Copenhagen (you can read all about it here). It was truly a magnificent experience, not only to taste some wonderful flavour combinations, but to take comfort that we do some good things here too!
