Topsy turvy late summer heat calls for some reworking of dishes as our chefs look forward to autumn and winter ingredients.  Don't knock it, I say, but then so much of what we do at Jeremy's and Cafe Elvira is inspired by idyllic sojourns in the Med, so we'll keep the estate-bottled olive oil flowing a little longer.  Even so, Vera and her team have just made the first batch of Christmas puddings!

Macmillan Cancer support is turning 100 years old this year and to mark this important occasion, Jeremy's is hosting a gala centenary dinner at the restaurant, sponsored by Savills Haywards Heath, on Friday 18th November.  Guests will enjoy a special 3-course dinner prepared by Jeremy and his team, including an arrival aperitif, coffee and petit fours.   And the money raised on the night will go to the Macmillan Cancer Support in Brighton.   There are still some tickets left - £40 per person or £400 for a table of ten - so to take part in this fantastic fund-raising dinner and help celebrate this special birthday, please contact the organiser - David Metcalfe by phoning him on 01444 415060 or emailing at  7.30pm for 8pm, smart/casual dress.
